Jewish Cemetery Vandalized in Philadelphia, PA


Hundreds of headstones are vandalized at the Jewish cemetery, located in Northeast section of the Philadelphia, PA, at the end of February 2017. The days after the Feb. 27th, 2017 discovery hundreds of volunteers help to clean up and map gravestones. The old cemetery shows signs of years of neglect.

When we moved from the Netherlands to Philadelphia six years ago, my wife and I first landed in Fishtown. It’s a nice neighborhood if you are young, but for us, eventually, Mt. Airy in Northwest Philly beckoned.
